***Please join us!*** *Thursday, May 3rd from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. – “Girl’s Night Out! “Mary Kay!!!” party with Terri Tallent! Lots of wonderful and healthy skin care and make-up products, along with fragrances and accessories for spring, summer, anytime! (I have extra catalogs at the shop if you’d like a preview!) Try some free samples and see the new colors on YOU! Terri will help! Great for Mother’s Day gifts, too!

*Saturday, May 5th from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. – “Macon Mehndi!” with Mary Bennett! This is really cool! Mary has been kind enough to set up at the Art Room and let us be “decorated’ with a henna tattoo! Try a fun ring or wrist loop for $5.00 or a hand, wrist or anklet design for $10.00. These temporary tattoos will last for a while, but will not be permanent… Come check out some of Mary’s designs on the flyers here at the counter.

*Tuesday, May 8th from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. – “Folded Fleur-de-lis Pendant!” card class with Candy! This card is beautiful! Perfect for any occasion! You’ll want to create it over and over again! Class fee is $20.00 and includes all materials. Samples are here at the shop.

*Aprils’ FREE “make & take” is on Saturday, April 28th from 10:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. with Bonnie! *May’s FREE “make & takes” are on May 5th, 12th and 25th. No registration is necessary for “make & takes”. Why not stop by the “Art Bar” and get a dose of creativity?! *There will NOT be a FREE “make & take” on Saturday, May 19th - That’s your day to go to “Stamp Camp!” with Candy and Jennie! What fun this will be - I have previewed some of the cards and projects and WOW! All day long, 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. and the class fee is $60.00 or only $50.00 if you pre-register and pre-pay at least one week before camp! (The Art Room will have a FREE demo going on at that day at the front counter, though, from 10:00 a.m. till noon.)

Tuesday, April 24th from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. – “Folded Fleur-de-lis Pendant!” with Candy! How beautiful! Enjoy creating this special card! Class fee is $20.00 and includes all materials. Sample is at the shop.

“Art Room’s Flower of the Month Club!” Thursday, April 26th from 1:00 till 2:30 p.m.- Our third meeting of the “Flower of the Month Club!” with Bonnie! We’ll make our third flower this month – a lily! Add it to your collection, then come back monthly to add another different flower to your “floral tag book!” Class will be on the last Thursday of every month, EXCEPT for December, which will be on the first Thursday, December 6th. There will be a one time (yearly) fee of $25.00 and that will cover your registration to come by and create a FREE different flower each and every month of 2012! Please pre register and pre pay by Saturday, May 26th, if you haven’t already.

*Thursday, May 31st from 1:00 till 2:30 p.m. – Our fourth meeting of the “Flower of the Month Club!” with Bonnie! We’ll have a new flower this month to add to your collection – a very unusual and fun one! You’ll see…

Saturday, May 19th from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. - “Dawn & Dusk!” - a mini album with Bonnie! Sample is here and it is unbelievable! Black and white has never been so very beautiful! Class fee is $30.00 and includes all materials. Please bring your basic class kit and a bag lunch.

”Spring/ Summer Stamp Camps” are scheduled for Saturday, May 19th and/ or Saturday, June 9th (with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 10). “Christmas in July Stamp Camp” is scheduled for Saturday, July 21st. Class times are from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. These fun days with Candy and Jennie will focus on 10 different papercrafting projects and cards that you will love! All new! All fun! Class fee for each day is only $60.00, though if you preregister and prepay at least one week ahead, your fee will be only $50.00!

This is fun! Please start putting your name and phone # on the back of your Art Room punch cards. When you use up your card, it will be put into a drawing at the end of the month to win - a new, full punchcard worth a FREE $15.00! Cool, huh?! Winning name will be drawn the last Saturday of each month. You do not have to be present to win.

Please remember to pre-register and pre-pay for all classes at least one week in advance. This gives our instructors time to plan and organize your class kits. All classes may be paid for by cash or check, check must be made out to the instructor. No class fee payments by charge cards, sorry.

Also, please bring your “basic class kit” to any classes you might attend. This consists of: *pencil/paper
*scissors/ detail scissors
* gluestick
*favorite tape adhesive
*bone folder
*personal cutter/scorer
*ruler
*rubber brayer
*black permanent ink pad
* Tim Holtz distress inks – black soot and vintage photo *crafting apron or old shirt so we can get messy! If you do not have everything, you may certainly borrow one of ours or purchase it here at the shop. (You do NOT need to bring your kit to any of the FREE “make & takes!”)

Brandon is back! Anyone, ages 8 – 20, in search for their inner artist, join Brandon to learn some skills to start you on your way! We have another new instructor and a very cool class! Ray can assist you in turning your “old beat-up furniture” into something useable again! Faux-finish for pennies on the dollar and have something you’ll enjoy for years to come!
